Sparking creativity in your little ones through movement and play

​A joyful and enriching playgroup experience designed for young children to move, create, imagine, and connect! Hosted by Thrive Dance Studio, this program blends movement, music, art, and imaginative play into an engaging morning for your child. Each class is thoughtfully structured to nurture creativity, encourage social development, and support early learning—all in a warm, welcoming, and playful environment.

Program Highlights:

🎨 Art Exploration
Children begin with a hands-on art activity that encourages self-expression and sensory exploration. Whether it’s painting, collaging, or working with clay, each week offers a new project aligned with the day’s theme.

🧸 Free Exploration Time
Children enjoy unstructured play with thoughtfully selected toys and props that inspire curiosity, imaginative play, and social interaction. This is a time for children to explore at their own pace while building confidence and friendships.

📚 Story Time
Gathering in a cozy circle, we dive into story time with picture books that spark imagination and often tie into the day’s theme. This quiet moment helps children build listening skills and fosters a love for reading.

🎶 Music & Rhythm
Children are introduced to music through songs, rhythm instruments, and interactive movement games. They sing, clap, stomp, and giggle while exploring beat, melody, and sound in a fun, age-appropriate way.

💃 Dance & Movement
The heart of our program! Led by our experienced dance instructors, this playful introduction to dance focuses on creative movement, basic coordination, and self-expression. Children move their bodies freely and joyfully, building physical confidence and awareness.

The Little Thrivers Program is more than just a playgroup—it’s a space where creativity blooms, friendships form, and children learn through joyful movement and exploration. Whether twirling, painting, building, or listening, every child is invited to express themselves freely in a positive, supportive community.

Ideal for ages 2-5 yrs, this program runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:15-12:00. (Drop off time 9:15-9:30am)

$120 +GST /month or $180 +GST/month for both days 

*Register for BOTH Tuesday & Thursday Little Thrivers Program and we will apply a 50% discount on your second class per month! This will need to be done manually so sign up for your your first class and then advise our office via thrivedancestudio@gmail.com
